Bhau’s Internet Chat/Webcast Sunday, 22nd August 2010

Beloved Avatar Meher Ki Jai Baba!

Note: An easy way to log onto the chat and webcast is to go to Bhau’s home page and click on the tabs at the top of the page.

****

Bhau is back in harness, and last week’s chat lasted over four hours. Nevertheless, Bhau’s team highly recommends that you join the chat/webcast sooner rather than later, as there is always the chance that the chat will end earlier. Per Bhau’s wishes, you are welcome to join in or leave the chat at any time.

*****

The following beautiful and touching excerpt has been tweaked from last week’s chat:

Lady Priest (Juanita) – Dearest Bhau, my youngest daughter is suffering from cancer, and although she is trying to stay strong and positive, I find that my strength and faith is getting weaker. My oldest daughter died from cancer five years ago. I love Baba so much, and I pray and pray and pray, and my devotion to Him is so strong, yet I am so sad about this that it is becoming hard for me to hide my tears at work, in front of friends, and in public. I need to regain my strength and faith. Can you give me some advice from Baba? I am so glad to see you. You look wonderful. Much love to all.

Bhau Kalchuri – My dearest Mother Lady Priest, I am sorry to hear that your oldest daughter passed away five years ago, and now your second daughter also has cancer.

How courageous you are that you are bearing all this as you pass through it. Whatever you think best, please do so.

Baba is the only Source, so please just remember and remember Him. Because of His Manifestation, nowadays He is working very fast, and He will hear your prayers. I will also pray to Him.

Know well that in my prayers I pray for different people and request Baba to hear their prayers.

The first day when I return from my visits to the West, I go direct from Bombay to Meherabad. There I bow down to Baba’s Gaadi, then go to the 1935 Cabin, where Baba’s body was kept and then the samadhis of the ladies Mandali.

At 5:30 a.m., the Samadhi opens for cleaning. Then I enter into the Samadhi. All the dear ones are in my mind, and I pray for everyone.

Then I come back to Ahmednagar, take a bath and go to Meherazad, where I visit Baba’s room, Mandali Hall and then Baba’s bedroom.

This time, I told Meheru about the time I spent in Myrtle Beach and Meherana. When I returned to Ahmednagar, the Trust Office had opened, and I attended to a lot of accumulated work. Then I ate and also had a partial fast.

All this I completed in one day.

My dearest Mummy Lady Priest, don’t worry. Whatever Beloved Baba does, He does for the best. Always remember Him. Leave everything to Baba, but do your duty as a Mother. Take care of your child. Whatever Baba wants, He will do. Don’t worry, and when you don’t worry, you will feel happy. Baba will then do whatever is best for you daughter. He always does the best for everyone.

Suffering and happiness are both in the world. Some suffer, some are happy, but whatever He does is good for everyone. So don’t worry. He will do whatever is good for you. He will take care. Jai Ho, Jai Ho, Jai Ho, my Mother Lady Priest and your child. Jai Ho.

Lady Priest – Thank you, dearest Bhau for your prayers and words. I am going to the Baba Center in Ojai next week and sit under Baba’s tree and pray and remember your loving words and advice.

Bhau Kalchuri – You are doing good work, my Lady Priest. Good that you are going to Ojai. You will sit there and pray to Baba. That is good, and I appreciate it. Maybe your daughter will be all right. Jai Ho, Jai Ho, Jai Ho, yours, my Lady Priest. Jai Ho.

*****

The following humorous but meaningful excerpt has been tweaked from last week’s chat:

Amir – Jai Baba to the master of the chat and email. Jai Ho! Jai Ho! Jai Ho, dear Bhauji. Meher Baba said, “Mastery in Servitude.” Please explain for me what Baba’s viewpoint of mastery is. Jai Meher Baba!

Bhau Kalchuri – My dearest Amir, it appears your name is Amir, “Amir” means “very rich”! So how much money are you going to give to the Trust?

[Bhau laughs.]

Now every time I go to Meherabad, on Monday and Friday, you are ready near my car to take me into the Pilgrim Center. Khan Bahadur Munsiff (Shaheen) is always busy, day and night. And Amir is also busy. He comes early and he just waits for me.

Baba would say the real meaning of Mastery in Servitude is that you should become dust in His love. Dust you say. How should I become One with You?

Dust!

That is Mastery in Servitude, to become dust. Always serve others with all love and honesty. Because you have come here, you may achieve, provided whatever money you have you give for Baba’s cause and not a single pai you keep for yourself!

[Bhau laughs]

If you can do that, then I will tell you how Mastery in Servitude is achieved.

Amir – Thank you, Bhauji.

Correction

Subject: Corrx. Bhau’s Internet Chat/Webcast Sunday, 8th August 2010
Date: Friday, 6th August 2010

Beloved Avatar Meher Ki Jai Baba!

>From Mother C:

Two corrections noted when yesterday’s announcement was read out to Bhauji:

1) Last week’s chat lasted more than two hours – almost three and a half, actually.

2) In the last paragraph of the excerpt, Bhauji corrected:

“We have to pass down through different planes …’ – first the MENTAL, then the subtle’ …”

(not subtle then the mental).

From the Bhau Team:

Subject: Bhau’s Internet , Chat/Webcast Sunday, 8th August 2010
Date: Friday, 6th August 2010

Beloved Avatar Meher Ki Jai Baba!
What the recent chats have lacked in length, they have been more than compensated by Bhau’s FF [Full Force] luminous intensity.

Last week, by fortunate coincidence, the chatters ran out of questions at the same time Bhau’s physical energy levels started wane, and the chat ended approximately two hours into it.

Although the timings below are for a four-hour chat, Bhau’s team highly recommends that you join the chat/webcast sooner rather than later, as there is always the chance that the chat will end earlier.

*****

The following has been tweaked from Bhau’s beautiful opening during last week’s chat:

Bhau Kalchuri – My dearest dear ones of Beloved Avatar Meher Baba, we have come together again to express our feelings of love for Meher Baba. I cannot express how close you have come to Him. Though distance seems to be there, think that that distance is one we create. There is actually no distance between Him and us. This apparent distance is that which we want to clear and become One with Him. We are always One, but this “we” word keeps us in suspense, and creates distance. There is no space between Him and us.

There is only One, and that is God. He is always there, but in order to know, we have to pass down through different planes – first the subtle, then the mental ( though we don’t experience anything. Then we come down to the gross plane, and now, experience begins.

FOR USERS, INCLUDING THOSE WITH MACS, WHO DON’T HAVE WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER, REAL PLAYER ALSO WORKS.

Another alternative, suggested by Eric Romesberg, is VLC Media Player, downloadable at:

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

According to Eric, “VLC supports Windows, Mac OS-X and Linux. I was able to watch and simultaneously record the video+audio or watch the video+audio while recording only the audio (to reduce the file size)”

RECORDING THE WEBCAST

Unfortunately, no further information is regarding the following procedures. Please contact your local geek for advice.

If you are using Windows Media Player and have Real Player installed, the webcast can often be recorded by right clicking on the Windows Media Player image and clicking on “Download this video.”

Eric recorded the webcast using the following procedure:

Here are the VLC menus I used to watch the webcast and record the video+audio:

1. Open VLC Media Player

2. Click on Media Open Network Stream…

3. Type or Copy/Paste

http://72.75.238.14/Meher Baba

in the address field

3. Click the down-arrow to the left of the Play button

4. Select Convert

5. For the profile, select “Video – H.264 + AAC (TS)”

6. Select a folder and name for the destination file, with a .TS extension

7. Check the box “Display the output” to watch the webcast while recording.

8. Click Start

RECORDING THE AUDIO

VLC MEDIA PLAYER

Audio only can be recorded by selecting the “Audio – AAC (MP4)” profile instead, using a .MP4 extension for the filename.

AUDACITY

The audio portion of the webcast can also be recorded by itself by using the Audacity program (use the WAVE function).
